Howard D. Poarch, CPA is the Managing Director in the Birmingham office. He has been in public accounting since 1963. His responsibilities are to manage audit, review and compilation engagements, stay up to date on accounting and auditing matters, and supervise professional staff. He also has extensive experience in preparing prospective financial statements, cash flow projections, and other various types of management advisory services.
One of Howard's primary responsibilities is that of technical reviewer of financial statements. He has gained a broad knowledge of financial reporting requirements and is responsible for compliance with the applicable accounting principles.
Andy Key, CPA is a Director in the Birmingham office. He has been in public accounting since 1993. His responsibilities include managing audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as planning and preparation in tax and management advisory services. Andy has extensive experience in trucking, manufacturing and governmental.
G. Warren Morrison, CPA, CVA is a Director in the Birmingham office. He has been active in all areas of public accounting since 1961 and has extensive experience in a number of industries. For twenty-nine years Warren worked for a regional CPA firm serving as manager, partner and managing partner. In 1994 he began practicing as a proprietorship and joined Mann, Poarch, Miller, Key & Morrison, P.C. in 2006.
Warren is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has served as a member of the Alabama Peer Review Committee since its inception in 1989. Warren has been performing peer reviews and serving as a consultant to other CPA firms since that time. In 2003 he received from his alma mater, The University of Alabama, the Career Achievement Award for outstanding service to the accounting profession, the business community and society.
